Room Rate |
A block of rooms has been set aside for conference attendees at the special rate of $136 (single or double occupancy), plus 15.6% tax.
To guarantee this special rate, you will need to reserve your room with the Sheraton Seattle Hotel & Towers before February 14. The special rate is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Rooms may sell out prior to February 14, so it is important that you make your reservation as soon as possible. After February 14, reservations will be accepted on a space available/rate available basis only at current room rates for March 10 through 19, 2005. |
Tax Exemption |
The State of Washington accepts tax exemptions on hotel rooms for employees of the Federal Government only who pay with a government-issued check or credit card. Request a tax exemption form from the front desk at the hotel when you check in. Anyone having questions about tax exemption status in the State of Washington can contact the Washington State Tax Information inquiry line at 800-674-7706. |
Reservation Information |
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.; check-out time is 12:00 noon. Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. Any rooms not occupied or guaranteed by 5:00 p.m. on the date of arrival will be released for general sale. Note: Cancellation of room reservations must be made 72 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. Be sure to get a cancellation code. |
Airline and Travel Service |
American, Delta, and Northwest are the official Airlines for the 2005 UST/LUST National Conference (Meeting ID Code: A2235AP for American; 208608A for Delta; and NM6BY for Northwest). They all provide service to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Discounts ranging from 5% to 10% are available based on the lowest applicable published roundtrip fares. Plan ahead and receive an additional 5% discount at Northwest by ticketing 60 days or more prior to departure or ticketing 30 days prior to departure at Delta. These discounts are valid provided all rules and restrictions are met; they are applicable for travel from all points on American, Delta, and Northwest route systems. Airport And Ground Transportation |
The Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (www.portseattle.org/seatac) serves the city of Seattle. Shuttle Express and Airport Express GrayLine are two of the more commonly used shuttle services; both have booths at or near the baggage claim area. Parking |
There is both self-park and valet parking at the hotel. Current costs for parking for 5 to 24 hours are: Self-Park--$26.00 + tax [$28.29 inclusive]; valet parking--$28.00 + tax [$30.47 inclusive] |
