When and where are the stakeholder meetings?
In planning the turf fertilizer initiative, NEIWPCC and its partners discovered that turf fertilizer issues are important to many different types of business, divisions of government and types of advocacy group. Due to this diversity, we believe that it will prove most productive to hold a series of meetings on specific topics. This approach is described more fully in our strategy document. The purpose of these meetings is to engage industry as non-industry stakeholders on technical and policy issues related to turf fertilizer and to work towards mutually agreeable guidelines for industry conduct. While all stakeholder meetings will be open to the public to observe and provide general comment, the active participants for each meeting are the “key participants” noted below.
