The New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC) intends to assist with the reimbursement of travel expenses for up to three state, tribal, and territorial Underground Storage Tank (UST) program managers and staff to the 23rd National Tanks Conference & Exposition on March 19 – 21, 2012 in St. Louis, Missouri.
NEIWPCC will assist with travel reimbursement for one individual from each of the three underground storage tank programs (underground storage tank, leaking underground storage tank and state fund) per state, tribe, or territory. NEIWPCC will not reimburse multiple staff from the same program, i.e. two LUST program staff. Conference speakers, session organizers, and planning team members who are a state, tribal, or territory employee will also be reimbursed by NEIWPCC and will not count towards the three additional attendees.
Speakers: In order to qualify for reimbursement, speakers must be state or tribal employees or academics who are state or tribal employees. We unfortunately cannot reimburse travel costs for individuals in the private sector. Speakers who qualify and are interested in receiving travel reimbursement from NEIWPCC must submit the “Request for Travel Reimbursement” form to be considered for reimbursement. Please submit your travel reimbursement request as soon as possible to ensure your travel will be covered – requests are due by February 17, 2012.
Program Managers: UST, LUST, and SF program managers are responsible for deciding whose travel expenses will be submitted to NEIWPCC for reimbursement. Please send the name(s) and contact information, including email addresses, for the designated staff you would like NEIWPCC to reimburse to Cinthya Antohi no later than December 30, 2011.
Once NEIWPCC has been notified of the designated staff from your state to be reimbursed, please ask those individuals to fill out and return the “Request for Travel Reimbursement” form and return it to Cinthya Antohi. Requests for Reimbursement must be submitted to NEIWPCC by February 17, 2012. NEIWPCC will not reimburse travel for those individuals who do not submit a “Request for Reimbursement prior to attending the conference.
