The 20th Annual National Tanks Conference (NTC) & Expo is excited about including a Poster Session in the 2008 conference. The Scientific Poster Session has become a very popular part of the NTC over the years, allowing the authors and attendees to interact more directly than during platform or lecture presentations.
The Poster itself is a visual display of ideas (and can include text, charts, photographs, even 3-D objects; commercial presentations should use the exhibit space) Multiple posters are set up in one room. Participants pass from Poster to Poster, quickly assimilating the main points of each Poster, leaving them time to engage in detailed, in-depth discussions with the authors of those Posters most relevant to them. Presenters and participants have both reported that the experience is quite fulfilling and educational allowing for cross-connections to be made among presentations.
