The Streets of Buckhead
![]() |
The Streets of Buckhead is currently in the remediation phase. Here you will see a Brownfields redevelopment in process. A representative from one of the companies conducting the redevelopment will provide information on the resources that were brought together for this project and the measures that are being taken to abate the tetrachloroethylene contamination that resulted from former dry cleaning operations located at the site.
The Streets of Buckhead is an 800,000 square foot luxury mixed-use community in the heart of heart of Atlanta's cosmopolitan Buckhead neighborhood. The Streets of Buckhead will transform a total of 9 acres - into a charming and walkable city streetscape offering upscale boutiques, extraordinary restaurants and sidewalk cafes. Upon completion, The Streets of Buckhead will proudly feature over 500,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, dedicated to internationally celebrated luxury and lifestyle brands; stylish restaurants, four world-class hotels; up to 1,000 luxury residential units and over 300,000 square feet of Class A office space. Construction will begin in late fall 2007 with the grand opening of retail shops and restaurants set for November 2009.
