American Petroleum Institute – a national oil and natural gas industry trade
organization that conducts programs in advocacy, research and statistics, standards, certification,
and education.
National Association of Convenience Stores – NACS serves the convenience and petroleum retailing industry by providing industry knowledge, connections and advocacy to ensure the competitive viability of its members' businesses. In 2007, the association shortened its name to NACS and added a tagline: The Association for Convenience and Petroleum Retailing.
National Institute for Steel Tank Management – a non-profit organization that provides educational opportunities, resources and training seminars about the operation, regulation, and management of Underground and Aboveground storage tank systems.
Petroleum Equipment Institute – The Petroleum Equipment Institute serves the petroleum equipment industry by providing information, guidance, and recommended best practices.
Petroleum Marketers Association of America – PMAA is a federation of 47 state and regional trade associations representing approximately 8,000 independent petroleum marketers nationwide.
Steel Tank Institute – STI/SPFA is a trade association for fabricators of steel construction products and their suppliers.
Underwriters Laboratories – a global leader in energy product testing and certification. UL supports manufacturers as they navigate through the various phases of the product development, testing and certification according to the appropriate energy standard.

NWGLDE – The National Work Group on Lead Detection Evaluations is an independent group
of 10 members: 9 of whom represent various states and 1 from the U.S. EPA. Their mission is to:
• Review leak detection system evaluations to determine if each evaluation was performed in
accordance with an acceptable leak detection test method protocol;
• Ensure that the leak detection systems under review meet EPA and/or other regulatory performance
standards, if applicable;
• Review only draft and final leak detection test method protocols submitted to the Work Group by a
peer review committee to ensure they meet equivalency standards stated in the EPA standard test
procedures; and
• Make the results of such reviews available to interested parties.
